At Eutonia, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS application ("App"). The short version: your health data never leaves your device.
Information We Collect
Health Data (Processed Locally Only)
Eutonia reads the following data from Apple HealthKit to provide its features:
- Heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV)
- Resting heart rate
- Sleep analysis and sleep stages
- Respiratory rate
- Workout data (type, duration, heart rate)
- Step count
- Active energy burned
- Body mass (if available)
Important: All health data is processed entirely on your device. We do not transmit, store, or have access to any of your health information. This data never leaves your iPhone.
App Usage Data
We do not collect analytics, usage statistics, or behavioral data. We do not use any third-party analytics services.
Subscription Information
If you purchase a subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. Apple may share limited transaction information with us (such as whether you have an active subscription) to enable app features.
How We Use Your Information
Your health data is used solely to:
- Calculate your Recovery Score, Sleep Score, Strain Score, and Body Battery
- Track your fitness goals and progress
- Display trends and insights within the app
- Provide personalized recommendations based on your metrics
All calculations and processing happen on your device. We have no servers that process or store your health information.
Data Storage
Eutonia stores your calculated metrics and preferences locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is:
- Stored only on your iPhone
- Protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
- Included in your iCloud backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled
- Deletable at any time through the app's Settings
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information or health data with any third parties. Period.
Third-Party Services
Eutonia uses the following Apple services:
- Apple HealthKit: To read your health and fitness data with your permission
- Apple StoreKit: To process subscription purchases through the App Store
We do not integrate with any other third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.
Your Rights and Choices
You have full control over your data:
- HealthKit Permissions: You can grant or revoke Eutonia's access to specific health data types at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Eutonia
- Delete App Data: You can delete all locally stored data from within the app's Settings menu
- Uninstall: Deleting the app removes all locally stored data from your device
Children's Privacy
Eutonia is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address the situation.
Security
Because your health data is processed and stored only on your device, it benefits from Apple's robust device security, including:
- Device encryption
- Secure Enclave protection
- App sandboxing
- Your personal authentication (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of Eutonia after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
